Northern California rapper Fly Street Jay is 1/3 of the Oakland California rap group Fly Street Gang and has hit songs that include ( Fly Street Gang - Knock it out ) with artist YG, ( Fly Street Gang - When we wake up ) with Ty Dolla $ign ( Fly Street Gang - No Go ) with Dorrough Music and ( Fly Street Gang - Step On The Gas ) with Problem & Iamsu. Fly Street Jay has been making music since 2009 and fresh out the gate accomplished making good music that hit the air waves nationally from the SF Bay Area to the UK and beyond. Fly Street Jay is an Oakland California native but has lived in several cities throughout the Bay Area including Sacramento California. With musical influences ranging from Tupac Shakur, Too Short, Keak Da Sneak to Lil Wayne & Jay Z. Fly Street Jay style is simply put “Amazing” and “Unique”. Growing up in Oakland wasn’t easy for Jay, raised by a single mother who struggled with drug addiction and raising 5 kids alone. He credits his mother for finally moving out of Oakland California, stating “it probably saved both our lives.” With several mixtapes and albums with his group Fly Street Gang, Fly Street Jay put in the work and in 2019 took a leap of faith into the solo arena.
